Woodhouse Activity Centre

With the weather clearing up, there’s no better time to get the kids outdoors. Once again, the team at Woodhouse Activity Centre, are keen to ‘wear out the children of Adelaide’ and get them ‘unplugged’. You can drop the kids off and let them run wild, with day camps from 9am to 5pm. These days are fully catered and offer a different theme each day. There are a variety of themes on offer, from a Treasure Hunt to Master Chef and Fire & Ice – they won’t want to go home. For more information, click here.

Cleland Wildlife Park

Cleland are offering kids two great school holiday activities, running the course of the school holidays, from 9.30am – 5.00pm. The Great Nature Hunt offers kids a variety of things to keep them busy, from creating something wonderful at the Nature Mud Art Station, to making a cubby-house, this is on offer from Saturday 29th September, to Sunday 14th October. Entry for the Great Nature Hunt is free with tickets purchased for Cleland.

Also on for two days only, Professor Flint, the world-renowned singing palaeontologist will take the kids on an adventure to make their own mega-fauna fossil. For more information and to book your tickets, visit their website.

Hahndorf Farm Barn

An absolute hit with kids and adults alike, the Hahndorf Farm Barn offers fun for the whole family. You can hold, touch and feed most of the animals, and also during the school holidays, try your hand at milking a cow, taking a pony ride, bottle feeding baby lambs and also hand feeding the camels. There’s so much to do. And with picnic facilities, including BBQs, it’s a fun day out.
