The Main Street is packed with glorious foodie picks, Harris Smokehouse, The German Pantry, Farmgate Providore and Udder Delights offering glorious bites. And if you don’t have enough cheese, or looking for more (aren’t we all!) why not head towards Woodside and you’ll find our next door neighbour Woodside Cheese Wrights? If you’re heading through Stirling, the Stirling Hotel offers modern Australian dining, with a pub twist in the Grill. With pizzas paired with schnitzel’s and your fisherman’s basket, it’s the type of pub that caters for all styles. Or maybe you’re after a German experience? Hahndorf is home to more pubs and food destinations than one could ever try, with the Hahndorf Inn and German Arms offering iconic European food for those wanting an authentic Hills experience. You’ll never go hungry in the Hills.
Fine Dining Fit for a King!
The Mount Lofty Gardens are one of the most iconic collection of gardens in South Australia. And set on the grounds is the beautiful and well-known Mt Lofty House. Set amongst the greenery and offering views that take your breath away, the ambiance is truly set with the traditional fittings and fixtures of the restaurant. Besides exceptional food, the views of Adelaide and the spanning Hills make this restaurant one of the most sought after wedding destinations.
Besides the glorious views set by Mt Lofty House, Maximilians, with it’s French, Swiss and Austrian influences and on site vineyard is another iconic fine dining experience. Mother’s Day is an occasion to spoil Mum, so why not indulge in some of the state’s best offerings; whether that be Maximilians or Mt Lofty House or any of the other fine dining experiences.
